Have you seen how this author made more than a million bucks before his book got to stores? Hugh Howey‘s story is encouraging for any writer, to say the least. And it again puts a spotlight on the fact that times have clearly changed. This is something I try to remind myself of every day. It’s easy to get complacent. To become blind to the opportunities just sitting there, staring us in the face.
Right now is a time of great upheaval in so many industries. But for the creative, the hardworking and the brave–those three attributes together can be tough to find–the timing looks like it couldn’t be better.
